Call for Applications: Recruitment Notice for Hanyang University Winter School Program, Fall Semester 2025

The on-campus application for Hanyang University Winter School Program of Fall Semester 2025 has been launched. Relevant arrangements for on-campus application are hereby notified as follows:

I. Program Information

1. University Profile

Hanyang University, located in the downtown area of Seoul, South Korea, is one of the most renowned private comprehensive universities in the country. Founded in 1939, it has earned a series of prestigious titles such as "University Excellent in Educational Reform" and "Outstanding University," which recognize it as a top-tier institution of higher learning.
2. Program Overview

(1) Program Content

This program focuses on cutting-edge fields including artificial intelligence, international business, and digital design, offering distinctive courses such as "Future Design and Technology," "Mobile Application Programming," and "Korean Film, Television and Social Culture." While delivering high-quality academic training, Hanyang University integrates more than 20 diverse experiences including WIN Tours local cultural exploration activities and ski trips. The program aims to empower future-oriented education with a broad perspective and bold innovation, nurturing top-notch innovative talents capable of leading the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

January 26, 2026 – February 6, 2026 (approximately two weeks)

3. Application Requirements

(1) Eligible Grade and Major

All currently enrolled students of our university are welcome to apply.

4. Program Fees (The specific amount is subject to the announcement by the overseas university)

The total fee for program participation is 1.5 million KRW (approximately CNY 7,300), including the cost of the ski experience.

Program tuition, fees for group activities and transportation during non-class hours, etc.
Program Fees [Not Included]

Accommodation fees, visa fees, airport pick-up and drop-off services, international round-trip air tickets (group booking is arranged in principle), overseas insurance fees, personal passport application fees, meal fees, transportation fees during independent travel, baggage overweight fees, personal shopping expenses, and other expenses not covered in the "Fees Included" section.

II. Application Procedures

1.Undergraduate students intending to apply shall carefully determine the courses to be taken during the exchange period, and consult the opinions of their respective colleges regarding credit recognition and course make-up arrangements. Before December 19, 2025, they are required to fill out the Application Form for Student Overseas (Cross-Border) Programs (in duplicate), the Study Plan for Courses During Exchange (to be completed by students with credit transfer/course substitution needs), the Commitment Letter for Overseas (Cross-Border) Study Exchange, and the Parental Consent Form. After signing and stamping the aforementioned documents, submit them to Room 221, Main Building, and send the electronic version of Annex 5 to yuyeyin@hit.edu.cn.
2.Students intending to apply shall directly contact Hanyang University and submit the required application materials in accordance with the content of the recruitment brochure. The final admission results shall be subject to the review of our university and the selection of the host overseas university.

3.After admission, undergraduates confirmed to go abroad for exchange shall pay the tuition fees to Harbin Institute of Technology as scheduled during their absence from campus, and purchase medical and accident insurance covering the exchange period.

4.Important Notice: The implementation of this program may be adjusted in light of changes in the entry policies of various countries.
