The 16th National College Student Robot Competition (Robope) has been launched, including the 2nd Robope Business Plan Competition, which is open for sign-up during April 6 to May 1. Following is preliminary information based on the last Competition before the official release of this year’s Competition.
About the Competition
1. Participation Requirements
Participants should be college students who remain full-time students by August 2017 or undergraduate students, junior college students, masters and PhDs who graduated for no more than 3 years. Each school is allowed to send a maximum of 3 teams to participate.
2. Competition Events
(1) Entrepreneurial practice (Type A)
Type A is designed for at-school college students or college students who gradated for no more than 5 years. Participants are required to own or authorized to own a product or service related to the robot industry as well as registered at the industrial and commercial administration, Civil administration Department or other government departments as enterprise, individually-owned business, private non-enterprise organization or other organization.
(2)Entrepreneurial plan (Type B)
Type B is designed for at-school college students. Participants are required to own or be authorized to own a product or service. The contestants should have a core team and possess the basic condition to carry out the entrepreneurship and haven’t registered at the industrial and commercial administration, Civil administration Department or other government departments.
3. How to Sign Up
Sign up between April 6 and May 1.Send the electronic copies of application form, proposal and business plan to firstname.lastname@example.org. Submit paper versions of the above documents (containing only team and project information) to Creative Venture Base at Building H.
4. Award Setting
The competition sets a number of first, second and third prizes. Certificates and bonuses will be issued to first, second and third place winners as well as individual award winners. The awards cover an extensive range with a total bonus of over 2,000,000 RMB. Specific rules, locations and other information about the competition will be released in upcoming notifications.
